A family event illustrating life in our town during the Civil War with re-enactors demonstrating the Ransom of Middletown, music, food, guided walking tours, hands-on activities for children and other interactive historical crafts and trades.  Families will be able to view the new Middletown: In The Path of War exhibit and original Ransom Note throughout the day at Middletown Valley Bank.

Stay for Main Street Middletown’s annual Taste of the Town evening party with a Civil War theme.  Imbibe in period food, wine and dancing under the stars along with horse and carriage rides.  Babysitting will be available for the evening event at The Valley School, just steps away from the event.  Civil War period attire is encouraged, but not required!
